Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Dr. James Adams earned his bachelor's degree from Henderson State University, his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, and his doctorate from Grand Canyon University. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping adults, adolescents, couples, and families lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Adams works with individuals and couples dealing with life's struggles. While he holds many certifications, he also enjoys working with military personnel, their spouses, and their families. As a Marine Corps and Gulf War veteran, Dr. Adams brings personal insight into the challenges experienced by military members, veterans, and their families. He works with clients facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. His compassionate, practical approach helps clients better understand their experiences, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Dr. Adams is also the author of Understanding the Trauma Brain: A Practical Guide to PTSD and Healing and Compassion Fatigue: Helping Those Who Help Others. Through counseling, education, and writing, he is committed to making mental health information understandable and giving people practical tools for healing and personal growth.

Amber earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology and her master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida. She provides compassionate, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy, helping clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
As the wife of an active-duty U.S. Army officer, Amber has a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by military members, veterans, and their families. She is passionate about supporting individuals through deployments, relocations, life transitions, and the emotional stressors of military life.
Amber works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, stress, and other life challenges. She is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

Cameron Padgett earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida State University and his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. He is passionate about helping individuals overcome life's challenges and achieve lasting personal growth.
Cameron takes an empathetic, motivational, and cognitive approach to therapy, creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. He enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and other mental health concerns, helping them develop practical tools to achieve their goals.
Outside of the office, Cameron enjoys playing the drums, spending time at the beach, and playing volleyball.
